Process only the photos, Live Photos, and ordinary videos you choose. No SnapExport account is required.
SnapExport is a photo and video export tool for iPhone and iPad. It processes your selected photos, Live Photos, and videos on your device. Version 1.2 adds recognizable filenames and remembered settings, with improvements to result recovery, iCloud fetching, and target-size compression.
You do not need to understand HEIC, JPEG, or video containers first. SnapExport separates original exports from compatible conversions and explains the actual action before export begins.

JPEG, PNG, and ordinary videos can remain unchanged. Photos that need conversion become JPEGs, while Live Photos can become broadly compatible videos.
Use the iOS share sheet or save to Files and available file providers. The receiving app decides what it can accept.
Keep files recognizable and reuse the settings you prefer. Version 1.2 also improves interrupted-result recovery, temporary-file cleanup, free-allowance recovery, and iCloud original fetching.
Use the original name when available, with an extension matching the actual output format. Duplicate names are distinguished automatically; originals in Photos are not renamed.
Reuse quality, JPEG recompression, photo dimensions, target size, location, Live Photo sound, and HDR choices. Review the current action and allowance before each export.
Reopen, share, or save completed results that are still available after an interruption. Unfinished items do not resume automatically, and temporary files are not a permanent backup.
Reduce unnecessary repeated processing while seeking an approximate target size. Actual size and processing time depend on the media, settings, and device.
Clearer original-fetching progress and recoverable error messages help you decide when to reconnect or retry. Downloading originals still depends on Apple system services.
Improved large-text layouts, VoiceOver readings, and copy in English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and Japanese.
Only export preferences are remembered. Selected media and per-item consent to keep other originals are not carried into the next batch. Save important results before the temporary cache expires.
Expand Advanced Settings on the export review screen to choose quality, longest-side limits, and a target size for still photos being re-encoded. These settings do not affect original JPEG, PNG, or video exports and never modify originals in Photos.
Choose no limit, or a maximum of 2048, 1600, or 1280 pixels. Larger photos are reduced proportionally, without stretching or upscaling.
Try about 500 KB, 1 MB, or 2 MB per photo. Actual size depends on photo content and settings; an exact match is not guaranteed.
Review your target settings before starting. When available, estimates show an approximate range. After export, see the actual total size of re-encoded photos. Estimates are not guarantees.
Dimensions and target size are unrestricted on first use; later batches may reuse your saved preferences. To compress an otherwise compatible JPEG, explicitly enable JPEG recompression; it uses free conversion allowance. Original exports may retain existing location data.
